Brand Message
Emborg Foods was founded in 1947 as a family business by the Danish businessman Erik Emborg, and the brand became a pioneer within frozen foods. By 1960, Emborg was introduced in the Middle East, offering a portfolio of products including beef burgers, poultry and canned seafood. In the 1980s, the product line was expanded to chicken franks and frozen vegetables, which turned out to be a great success. In 1995, Emborg established an office in Asia, which marked a new era, as Asia developed into our key market. In 2005, Emborg Foods was acquired by the global food company Uhrenholt. Today, Emborg is still a family-owned global brand with over 300 products marketed in 120 countries.
